Mazda Springs?

Post by BundyZook »

I have heard alot of people talk about 808 and 323 springs in a sierra and was just wondering what exactly the reasoning behind this all is? Can you simply replace your old springs with these? which ones do ya need front and rear? do ya need longer shocks?

Theory is springs are springs. They're all just bits of metal.

The right length and the right rate is all you need.

Length is a combination of these factors.

Any lifted spring will need changes to the shock length to compensate properly.

I would say that they are from the rear! Strut front end.

wat stumped said !! :D

they are almost 4" longer !!
so longer shocks ,
& on the rear either..
1..longer shackles
or
2..move the shackle mount

on the front..
(I have a reverse shackle)
so you will have to x-tend your chassis to move the shackle mount forward !!

I have 2" extended shackles front and rear. What will i need to do to fit them on? Will they give much lift or just a shitload of flex? Have you got pics of what you've done to fit yours?
