Surf spare wheel carrier.....

Post by Boopa »

G'day all....first time posting here!

Anyone know if a Rear Spare Wheel carrier from a Surf/Fourunner
can be easily adapted to the rear of a Hilux?

Cheers

Depends on what type!

If its one that fits to the chassis then i see no reason why it wouldn't!

But the BIG question is why do you want to fit a tyre carrier on a hilux, isn't that what the tray it for!!!!!! :P

Seen a couple that seem to bolt to the guard, above and below the light cluster.....which must mean they have some sort of support inside the guard.

Currently carrying the sixth spare on the racks...but with three kids
and all of their crap want to keep it out of the tub if possible, and with a couple of jerrys on the roof also, weight is becoming excessive up there.
