PTO winch

Post by buger »

HI! I would like to mount a PTO winch on my SWB Patrol 3.3T, but here in my country i can't find it, so i will need to made it up myself. So I will be very happy if somebody could post some info about PTO on Patrols and possible post some pisc of it, especialy the mount on the transfer case.

Thanks for the help!

And here is a picture of my Patrol in action! :)

Hi Buger,

Maybe its simpler to stay with the electric winch rather than building a PTO from scratch? Going by the picture you posted looks like youve already got one.
Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.

Talk to RMP&O off this board. He is working with a PTO i beleive, and knows about the freight system as well.

Youve done reverse shackle on your MQ?
How do u find it? does it work better than standard?

Tyers are 36" Buckshot Mudders, the front winch is a Warn M12000 24V, rear is a Warn M8000 12V, both with syntetyc rope.
Yes on the fron I made the schakle reversal and it works great, it has a loot of travel. :D
The PTO is not for this Patrol but for my other one, wich is usede as a daily driver.
