yea, just do it bit by bit, steering wheel, covers around combination switch - indicators etc, remove instrument panel surround, then instrument panel, heater panel assy can come out at any time, radio console can also, heater vent surround comes out after radio console and support comes out, then youve just got the main dash pad and glovebox.
Its not hard, just do it one bit at a time.

depending on how far you want to take it down - start with the instrument binnicle as previously described, then heater controls, remove the plastic plugs at both ends of the dash, plus in the glove box. Plus the 4 screws holding the centre dash section (where the radio used to be ftted). Once all screws, etc are gone, then lift the front and unclip from just under the windscreen. Under You will find a metal formwork/shelf - that is held in place with a seies of (10mm?) bolts. It should take about 10 minutes - a walk in the park.
