BLOODY flares

Post by bruiser »

Have an 80 series
What do you do when the ruber starts to fall out from between the flare and body.

Also are the aftermarket ones any good.
Thanks

Mine has after market ones. Every now and then
the rubber starts to fall out. It's a prick getting it
to stay in the right spot going back on.
I think mine are www.frp.com.au type ones.

RV
do you reckon they are better then genuine?

How much were they?

Since my trip to fraser at Christmas i have had sand stuck between the flair/rubber and body and it has be rubing and worn some of the paint off as they are loose.

I hate flares.

My fibreglass flares. You can see on the bottom pic
that it's held on with screws, undo 4 screws and its off :D

Nice

See you have taken rear bumper off.
Wouldn't mind doing that with mine until I come up with better solution.

Only problem is the 6inch lift draws police attention already.
Removing that would make it look even higher.

Would love to see pic of the rear. Only if it's not too much trouble.
Thanks

The bumperette kind of came off after a tussle with
a dirt bank and other side isn't far behind. Will be
relocating the muffler shortly :D
