engine swap 4runner oppinions

hi all i want more power in my 4 runner 2.4 diesel its guttless went to alljap engine importers in brisbane to find out if they had any 7m motors as this sounds like a cheap easy option after reading through forum etc.was told by the sales man i would be better of with a 1jzgte motor as they do them cheaper and they have more grunt but i can,t find any info on fitting one or who i could get to do it anyone know anything about this swap or should i stick with the 7m donk tia gary

they might be cheaper and have more power, but you also need to look at how hard the conversion is and if you need to upgrade any parts as well.
ie: brakes
talk to an engineer befor you make any purches of the engine/ frontcut

Can you get a front cut with a manual gearbox? Not sure if it will work. I'm thinking that if it is as easy as the Supra swap, someone would have said something about it by now.
