Like the topic says, has anyone successfully obtained engineering/compliance from a QLD engineer.
I am keen for it, but don't want the hassles of the men in blue.
Cheers

The vehicle modifier is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is
modified in accordance with relevant standards and recognised
automotive practice.
Just cut n pasted this from some regulations pdf book QLD Transport had on the web.

So in other words he has a Hilux approved with a Body Swap not a Zook approved with a SOA conversion!
It is possible to get a SOA conversion approved in QLD but you must use an axle that was originaly designed for SOA. So basicaly the only axle you can use is a hilux axle. But then you also cant change the track by much and the vehicle that the axles are being fitted to can not be heavier than a hilux.
