Mod plates or not, i will certainly be doing everything in my power to get there! 8)
One question and i know you cant give to much away, But will there be MUD , after being a spectator last year and hopfully a competitor this year i hope that the MUD run will A. be eliminated altogether OR B. elimininated altogether.

I think that the mud should be there. Its just got to be a lot bigger and badder than it was last year. Something that is going to drown the little rigs which havent got any horse power.
I think that a tough truck has got to be able to drive anything.
Probably should have a steep and rutted dirt hill climb as well (with a couple of ledges thrown in for fun)

OK throw in a DEEP WATER CROSSING than, some MUD too, Steep DIRT climbs, and some ROCKS!

I also think TTC should start at Windsor with a DNF time on the road stage from Windsor to Singlton being the time it takes to drive up the Putty road at the speed limit.

all well & good , having super modified rigs , that are meant to be road legal (tyres excepted) !!!!

I am wholeheartedly in agreeance, sorry suzuki boys, but I want to see you guys bail out and swim for the shoreline. Dont worry my 3 tonne landbarge will be there to tow you out, please dont be nearby breaking your axles when I need extrication from a similar predicament. Although, I agree, I want mud, not brown water, something deep and hungry, I want to hear and see the horsies, and the good flying, I want to see cars get buried and some big horsepower and big tyre rigs get through.

if you have seen Willowglen bog hole you would have seen cars that boot it with heaps of power sink straight away and the cars that are labouring through with water in ignition ect tend to get out... just what i have seen over the years.
Owner of 2 FJ40's, 1 for hard offroading with no roof and 1 for on road cruising with a roof.. perfect!

The Problem with the mud at TTC is that the water is so much deaper than the mud. For me the year i ran in the Lockless we did more heartbreaking damage in the Mud than any other stage. We had a totally dead car untill about 11AM on the Sunday as sandy water had got into all the electrics. We were only lucky that i had my buggy there on Display and we could get everything out of it to fix the lockless. The biggest issue we had was that we didnt know where to start as just about every electrical component had issues. Sam Keck went through the same issues with his zook.
But i do agrea its all part of proving a Tuff Truck. And lots of other vehicles have done the mud and not experianced the problems we had.
