Yea mine does too... But go to a dealer and have a look at a few others fi your unsure.

Tailshaft would go thru Back door if they didnt

edit: and keeps driveline angle straight., some vehicles have engine on slight left / right angle too.

Yep what bazzle said but it also has a lot to do with the cooling system I think.
the slight angle allows any air in the system to bleed to the highest point.
This is what I was told years ago when I asked about my 308 hq ute.
Made sense to me at the time.
end of the day you have nothing to worry about.
