new buildup

Post by grimbo »

I am looking at geting a soft top Zuk in the next week or so. Preferably it will be stock as a rock. From there I will put the rock hopper in, front and rear difflocks and 4.1 centres, the bodylift, the snorkel, bull bar, and any
other bits and pieces as well. I want to do the ruf but I'm now a bit wary of doing anything that will require an engineers report. Ideally a bolt on front extension would be great as to bolt on extended shock mounts.

Anyone know of who makes them, I'm pretty sure that the Spidertrax shock mounts would do and I Rocky Road appear to do a bolt on front extension but their site doesn't show them or really give enough details.

That'sall I can think of at the moment

That's cool grimbo! The bolt on kit that RRO do is great. Bazooked should be able to get you some pic's. I have been thinking that on the next rig I get this would be the only way I would go.

well looks like I got myself a new Zuk. Stock 92 softtop. Hopefully pick it up on Saturday.

Bazooked do you have any pics of the extensions. Where exactly do they extend, to the front or to the back. I want to be able to run the rear leaves up front whilst moving the axle forward about and inch and a bit

Grimbo the extention bazooked runs works to the front and the rear. If you adapt something similar to the front then it will move the diff forward. the YJ springs are longer then rears so this explains why it is extended forward and back. This way eveything will be bolt on.

How about some pic's bazooked

I have some spanners and plenty of smart ar$e remarks .. if you want to do a gerg style swap, I reckon that you should be able to get a few willing participants.

All we really need is a BBQ and droopypete (all oiled up ;) ) and anything is possible.
