No, not as a straight swapover as the input shaft splines are different.

I had the very same problem wanting to use a new 4cyl electric transfer onto a R series. Refer para 3 :D Transfer

It can be done by swapping over the input shafts, which is a piece of cake, ie put the R150 electric transfer input shaft into your non electric transfer.

You can also change the rear g/box housing and go to a gear drive t/fer. You have a 22R in the SR5 I take it.

The 2.7L petrol Hilux's had G52 box and chain t/case too.

Mate I assumed you were looking at an R150 that had an electronic transfer as you mentioned above and needed to know if you could use your non ADD transfer on this R150.

But now you indicate you are going to look for one :!: and do the input shaft swap.

If you haven't actually got an R150 with an electric V6 transfer then don't look for one of these :D

There's no need to swap your input shaft to get a non ADD transfer if you haven't already got an electric transfer.

Just get a R150 with the non ADD chain transfer from an early model RV6 4Runner.

Then sell yours to cut the costs :D .

Skootin.

No can do as these gear transfer housings will not directly bolt up to a R series trans. Only way is to use a Marks adapter plate or a USA 86/87 22R EFI housing.

Definately the 91-94's.

I think it was around 95 Toyota started to fit some of the SR5 extras to RV6's and although I'm not positive some may have also got ADD. If you check the wreckers for 91-94's you should be OK but they will know the difference between ADD and non ADD anyway.
