GQ drag link and rear lower arm length.

Post by patrol man »

Is the taper on the tie rod end the same as the drag link, the reason I ask is that my drag link is stuffed and i have a spare tie rod. so the idea is to cut the tie rod at one end and retap , then weld a bracket to it for the dampener and may sl. also what length is ideal for rear arms as I have an old set that I was thinking of cuting and strengthening so just after a length, plan to run 35's And what tricks have you's have for tightening a GQ lsd. cheers phill.

Patrol man don't muck around when it comes to rear arms. Had a bad experience last w-end with trailing arms. Broke both bottom arms, bent a top 1 & snapped pinion not very nice. Go & get a set of good quality arms like the comp trucks r using.
