Drag Link Ends

Post by Frenzal »

OK, my steering has turned to shite. I'm pretty sure the problem is the drag link balljoints. I can hold the drag link and wobble it back and forth with no effort at all. Should there be any movement allowed in this by hand?

I noticed from past threads that you can tighten the drag link on either end with a flat blade sdriver, but does this tighten the ball joints, and if so, to what degree will it fix the play in the joints? Am I better off replacing the ends? I've got a dropped drag link.

Cheers in advance.
