60 Series Leaf Alternatives

Post by KaMo »

Hey guys, after some advice on alternative leaves for a HJ61...something cost effective and preferably any easy swap in. The springs in there are after market and crap: very short (shackles are vertical), and stiff as all s#$t. So i want a longer spring for a bit more flex and lift, something a bit softer. Load carrying abilitys dont really matter...as long as they're not gonna try heading south with just myself sitting in the car.

Thankyou muchly....

Id look at them new OME ones. The Dakar. OME have a good reputation for leaf springs, and the dakar range is half the prices of their normal springs, but still claim not to sag any quicker. You should be able to chose, heavy duty, medium and light rated springs... There would be more, but thats just what i think would be the go.
