Has any one run 35s on an Mq with a lift but stanard runing gear, and how did it efect the stearing and off road gearing?

36s on a mk with 4.6s ratios and L28 means no second low gear on hills at all!!!!!

uses lots more fuel and acceleration is a lot slower.

also might need to check the clutch occasionally :rofl:

Heathx4 does, 35's on L28/4speed.

I asked him the same question, he said its slower, but not that much slower then what it already is with 33's.

Might be helpful to send him a PM if you want more info.

Yep, what foad said. Steering is heavier and can have more violent feedback. And it crawls quicker, accelerates slower. But neither effect is large, just large enough to be noticeable. Hard to be objective about this!

I really don't think the L28 is that slow (with 31's)

So I think once you go to 33's, and are used to that, when you go to 35's its even less of a noticable change.

I'd say going from 31's to 35's will be noticable.
