Well i've had my power steering unit for 6 months before i tried fitting it. turns out it's the wrong unit and cause of the time delay the wreckers want nothing to do with it.
The box fitted fine and has a daihatsu symbol on it but the the pump is totally different. The fluid tank is also clear not the usual black.
My questions is, what do i do now? do i keep the box and try to track down the rest?? or do i not take the risk and try to track down another complete unit? could this be the unit off a charade?
has anyone heard of a complete unit for sale?
