if it is not to rooted, maybe take it to a canvas shop so they can fix it up.

Not sure were you live in townsville. I used to live there maybe take it to Doug Edes ( not sure of speeling) He is a canvas maker up there. You might know ??. Think he was oppisite holden there heading into town on ben bowen rd? They may be shithouse directions?? but he may be the man to see.

i got a custom one made up for my vit at about $300 bucks, better than the $695 they wanted for a replacement one.
with a custom one, you can be unique, and you can also get it in a lot of colours to suit.
i went to my upholsterer, who also canvassed my seats for water proofing. or you can go to any canvas to get it done. try and get the same material as what the original zook top was made out of, as other materials tend to stretch and shrink a lot with heat and so on. if you get windows, make sure they plastic weld them in, or seal it with silicone before they sew it all up. water leakage is very undesireable.
if the damage is repairable, repair it, but it may be just a little extra more just to get one made up.
hope this helps.

$650 for a std top....
we retail ours at $595 with marine grade material and tinted windows...
be about $520 for o/l members...
can get colours also for slightly more...
usually if your getting it repaired it would cost anywhere from $50 to $200..
this could be worth doing if your tight for money... and that is where i would be starting...its only going to cost some time and ph calls...
