Larger air filter

Post by legsx1 »

Some where I have read about one of you dudes fitting a larger air filter/cleaner to a td42. Can I be pointed in the right thread as I beleive I need to do something for my Chevy V8. Currently I have a round air box right in the front behind the left head light. Now I have removed the left battery I have plenty of room to mount a larger one

Any help please - truck ?

Larry,
Go to a truck automotive place like TWL, and get the biggest Donaldson (or similar) truck aircleaner you can physically fit where the LH battery used to be. We used an 8" diameter jobbie, probably about 12" long. Aarons truck has a 2.5" body lift and it just fitted.

If you have no luck, then let me know and I'll get one for you up here.....will cost you your current Nissan aircleaner though :-)

Any news from Guy bros yet??

Cheers
Mitch
