60 Series shocks and suspension upgrade

Post by dibbz »

I'm looking at the cheaper suspension / shocks to get some lift on my HJ60

Now I look at the pictures of these kits and I'm sure if you have 20 year old facotry suspension, sure you are getting 2" lift, but pictures of 60's to me look exactly like mine now, which has the factory springs reset 18 months ago, which are still quite pert.

Has anybody else had experience in this, do you really see 2" of lift?

Anyone have experiences with either Enforcer or OME Dakar? I'm thinking the OME gear looks a bit more beefy than Enforcer.

Cheers in advance.

my 60 which i just sold had the carrols enforcer 2 inch lift in it.

yes you could notice the lift, drove good on the road and also was good offroad the front flexed really well

for $1000 for everything its pretty good value for money

Cheers Monty..

Superior have the kit for about $1300 for the lot..

ARB is $1250 for OME Dakar springs and Nitrocharger shocks (only) all round, about $1900 when you compare it to all the gear superior offer in the Enforcer kit such as bushes, shackes, pins, bolts, steering dampener.

Somewhere in between I could get the OME gear and better value stuff from Superior.

I could just wait until I break something, or just get bigger rubber now which would speed the decision making on suspension :)

So after looking around and talking to people I decided on the OME Dakar and procomp es9000's..

And ARB didn't seem to have any dakar in stock so I have recieved the australian made OME for the same price..

stoked...

need to try some 33x12.5 mtrs on for size now.
