New Hilux WTF it has a Nissan scoop...Pic Added

Post by Surfin Alec »

Saw a new Hilux on the docks today and I am a bit confused. It kinda looks like a Kluger and RAV combo with a tray with a POOTROL bonnet scoop (Looks exactly the same to me) and LOOOW.

I think I will stick to me Surf. New shape dosent do it for me.

I agree ,where is the YANKEE version. I think this new lux will be a flop,as sales will plummit and hopfully they will have to bring the YANKEE version in to save sales.BTW Yes i am a TOYOTA man , but you have to admit when something is not right.
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

With you webbie. Ugliest ute ever. Liked the tacomas and such in canada but big bastards in person, compared to our luxs anyway. Its as if they like anything on roids, like the expeditions (explorer on roids)

Is is me or does it look too plasic and 'SUV' looking?

I think it's lost the 'tradesman' look that the hilux is know for.
LTDHO is my Ford 361rwkw (not for off road)

i spoke to a guy today who told me that the national launch for the new hilux is in Darwin next week. He is going to take all the journo's and Japanese Toyota people around a few of the local tracks. He runs a driver training company.
