Webbie,

Depends what your really after.
If you just want to lift it 2 inches , and doing it the cheapest way, id say 2" spring pucks in the front and a 2" shackel in the rear. The only other thing you would need is new shocks but if you look around get some second hand ones.
The first lift i had was an Old Man Emu 2" lift and the shocks i had for that i think were around the $135 each mark.
I still have 2 tucked away in my shed (cant remember front or rear) you can have for 50 each.

If your not too worried about price i think the Old Man Emu lift costed me around the $1300 mark.

If you can find second hand shocks, together with the spring spacers and shackles, this will definately be a do it yourself job and will definately come under $500.

why just 2" lift. What size tyres are you planning on running?

For a budget setup I'd probably go Add-a-leaf instead of longer shackles.
This can be done for as little as $450 with shockies.....

With the add-a-leaf would that compromise the handling, making it a little bit rougher?
