removing outputshaft from t700 gearbox
having a bit of trouble removing the output shaft to replace it with the marks one.
here is where i'm up to. what you can see is the inboard end of the shaft but having trouble getting it out. any pointers?

Haha. My haynes manual for me disco says you should get it checked by the dealer or trans specialist. Doesn't even show any pictures of the internals to make you feel like your doing d.i.y stuff

The sun gear is covering up the output shaft retaining clip, it will just lift out. The clip can be a total pain in the ass to remove, i have a pair of snap on circlip pliers that are designed just for that clip. If you still having problems, ill get the part number of them when i go back to work. Hope this helps mate......
