Water Pump?

Post by Sirzooky »

Hi guys, I stopped the zook today and had a heap of water coming out from behind the timing cover, along the sump at the top and onto my diff. Think its the water pump. Any ideas? Do i have to pull of the timing belt? Its a "96 coilly.

Cheers

from my mememory the waterpump isnt behind the timingbelt cover if thats where the water is coming from then you will have to remove the timing belt cover at some stage.

the water pump is partially under the timing cover , the pulley etc is not but the rest of it is , you will need to remove timing cover and the timing belt to remove the water pump.

cheers Jai
