Articulators Are Ready.
Moderator: -Scott-
Articulators Are Ready.
Well we have 20 units all up and 10 are due back from the heat treaters tomorrow the other 10 about a week later.
We have various sizes 30, 29, 28mm and smaller.
The base units have been repriced now to $290 Each as we have included some updates.
The base unit now has the machined face so the air ram can be retrofitted at a later date.
The air ram assembly is priced at $260.
PM or email me your interest and don't forget to accurately measure your swaybar diameter with a set of verniers.
Remember the air ram needs a compressed air source to run it can be plumbed directly to an ARB compressor for example.
For overseas orders I have set up a Pay Pal account and shipping will be extra.
All local orders are done as cash/cheque deals and shipping is free within Oz.
So in summary :-
Base unit is air ram compatible, 12mm hardened T locking pin with locking circlip, 12 hardened set screws, grease nipple, full nitriding (corrosion resistant), protective sleeve = $290 Each.
Air ram needs minimum 60psi pressure, comes with 6mm air fittings, plenty of 6mm Festo airline, dash control switch = $260 Each.

I'm guessing AU dollars? How do you plan to work US payment? Paypal? - EDIT: oops - ok it helps to read what I'm reading
Great news - now to find some bling...
EDIT: The air ram - from the sound of it it has an electric solenoid switch inside the ram correct?
Also, does lack of pressure disengage the ram - i.e. swaybar disconnected?
Thanks Frank!

Phil, my mate Barry who designed and makes these things is going to post to explain the air ram set up.
There are no electrics involved whatsoever he also believes the factory Mitsu locker compressor (6-8psi) will supply enough pressure to run the air ram.
Basically once the pin is engaged (locked) it cannot work itself upwards to disconnect the Articulator because the airline is sealed between it and the cabin switch. It needs air pressure to move the ram either in or out.

Yep attached isa pic of the manual locking pin version.
VPaj shipping to Greece would be around $50 Aus.
The idea of a swaybar disconnect is to have your onroad handling (when the unit is connected) and enjoy full available wheel travel when offroad (unit is disconnected).
The Paj CV's are pretty strong and even guys with front lockers, 2" lift, big tyres and disconnecting the front swaybar rarely have problems.
I never busted a CV with a front locker, 35"s, swaybar disconnect with some hard flogging so I can vouch for the CV's.
