Got half a chance to get hold of some 24 spline disco diffs for my thing.
I was going to do the toyota centre axle thing but these are cheap BUT
can you guys tell me the,
Axle size difference?
centres the same?
ratios are ?
brakes the same diamater?
will early rover rims bolt up ?
Ive been told these will bolt up to my RR chassis?
Have to travel a couple hour to get them so if i know what im looking at before i get there will help thanks ! :D
Oh are these heaps stronger?

They do pretty much bolt on and the ratios are the same.

Yes they are stronger - but only just - not by enough to justify the time and money.... unless you are getting them free and you can put them in yourself....

You were on the right track with the Hilux centres and jacmac axles....

That is unless you were planning to run 31's round the mall :mrgreen:

33% larger diameter (over 10 spline)

centres the same?

yes, just that 1 diff will have 24 spline side gears the other will have 10 spline

ratios are ?

3.54:1 same as you should have

brakes the same diamater?

don't know, probably ventilated front

The axles will be lot stronger than 10 spline, but you still have a single pin diff centre and same CW&P.

Put the yota centres in your housings.

1986 RR.
Custom suspension links etc.
HSV 215 engine.
4.3 diffs.
