I know Diesels blow some smoke but mine is blowing more than it should..

Its just turned over 100,000km's - It doesnt use a drop of oil and I change it every 5000km..

I have tried all those oil and fuel additives but they dont seem to help (I didnt have high hopes but thought I might give em a go)

Any suggestions :?:

Another thing you can try is too have a look at the air cleaner it could be blocked up with dust which is restricting air flow

Had the same problem in mine and chucked in a new air cleaner and it stopped blow smoke still blows a little but it does need a service

diesels when correctly tuned blow next to no smoke. if you have just turned over 100,000km, the injectors are due for service, along with your timing belt.

yep will be your injectors

mine blows way too much smoke at 200k when i bought it and have it booked in for injectors next week

I also needed to replace all the glow plugs cause it runs rough on start and blows white smoke

and im now onto my 2nd mechanic cause the 1st wouldnt couldnt even diagnose the glow plug issue i found in 30 seconds....

good diesel mechanics are hard to find
