Uni cover broken

Post by revin »

Over the last couple of days i`ve heard a rattle under my Lux, today was my 1st day off so i had a look under neath, onlt to find that the uni protector cover (cover is at the back of the front tail shaft near the transfer/gearbox) 2 of the 3 mounting brackets where broken so i took it off ,doest look like it protects much so just wondering what you guys think .

1. Leave it off as it doesnt really do anything
2.Reweld it and put it back on

Cheers

I welded mine up and put it back on. It will keep the worst of the mud off. Unless you really bury it it then it will just hold the mud in there i guess
