Springs 80/100 <> gq gu are they the same??
I was told that a 4' inch lifted spring from a cruiser is the same that would be put in to lift a patrol 6' inches. Can any one confirm this for me or is it bull????
Yep they are the same except that a Cruiser coil will lift a Patrol 2" so a 4" Cruiser coil should lft a Patrol 6" it stands to reason.
Also I think standard front Cruiser shocks are 2" longer than a Patrol thats why they flex a bit better standard.
Cheezy knows all the data on this sort of stuff.

and is it 80 or 100 series?
80/100 series are the same.. as well as GQ/GU
same front and rear yes. - rating could vary.. as no springs are the same. EG - GQ/GU drivers side springs are a little taller to compensate for driver, battery location and fuel tank etc. Not sure bout the cruisers.
