I reckon they probably dont know how to drive :D The 3/4 rear on mine is great but withe the soa you definantly need a track bar. Ive had no unloading issues and love the extra travle it gives. The conversion cost almost nothing as well.

The cars I have seen spoa and 3/4 have been a bit spooky on climbs, and they know how to drive.

mine dosent bind

i just run really stiff coils and have a high roll center is why it dosent flex much :)

As tim said it would bind unless it was perfect as the links and the springs would have differant arc radius's. A track bar will be fine. Also missing link is a LOT differant to 3/4 eliptic as in 3/4 there is still a spring the axel has to fight against to flex, which would mean its not nearly as scary. But in saying that i have never had any seat time in a 4x4 with a 3/4 missing link setup.

Sounds like a very valid point roc box wheelbase and stability go together so mabey on a swb zook the 3/4 setup it a bit freaky. Just lengthen it out when you do the 3/4 conversion
