I reckon you could build one sweet Rocky.

I have last years NZ Winch Challenge on video and they briefly show a Rocky that was entered into it. It had the back roof off so the rear was exposed, nice roll bars, cage behind the front seats. And was running a V8 under the hood!! Dam it sounded sweet. Looked like it was on 33s. Unfortunately they didn't make it too far and had to pull out so I didn't really get to see it in action..

I reckon, SWB Rocky, v8 conversion with gearbox, xfer case as well, lower gears in the Xfer case, SPOA and 33s-35s...you'd have one awesome rig. I reckon the stock axles could handle it, run f/r detroits, custom xover steering..

Lotta work tho..I just don't know enough about engines etc to even attempt this...would be a lot of fab work...
