Wheel Balance Problems

Post by da60 »

Just in case it hasn't been mentioned before, I wounder how many of us that use our 4b found that the wheel balance was ok when we brought the truck? (when the truck was a virgin). I had this problem, I found while rotating my tyres front to back that my front discs (in the vents) and hub assembly's had mud stuck to them from a previous adventure.
I would have thought that the gyroscopic force of the wheel going around would have flung the mud off long ago although it didn't, cleaned the mud out and now no more wheel wobbles, I narrowed it to this as I have not lost any wheel weights, all my lugs are there (MTR's) and the problem only really arised after I got myself stuck in some deep mud.
Just a thought to look out for, prior to spending money on swivel hub bearing and the like!!
