I know there is someone on here running them but can't remember who. I am seriously considering these in 35x12.5x15 and would like a report on them.
They will be the only set for this rangie but it is not a daily driver, but will be used for playing and long distance trips.
Any info would be great. These are the ones I am talking about.

I've had a set for three years and I wheel with a few others that have them. IMO, they are the best all around 4x4 tire on the market. Ride smooth on the road and work well in all conditions. They seem to be nice and strong, nobody I know is getting any cutting or chunking.
I suspect they will not wear a long time if used mainly on the road as the compounding is soft relative to a road tire. Not soft like Krawler or or Irok but softer than most on the market.

The truck will be lucky to do 5000km per year. What are they like on wet roads? I am looking for a good "all-rounder" with a big off road bias. They sound like the go. How do the compare with a TSL and BFG MT in mud, I hope more towards the TSL than the BFG.

Glad you got em all right and are happy . I haven't got prices on them yet but expecting them to be a bit more than MTR's. As for how they compare to the claws, that's what i'm trying to find out.

I would guess you will get 30000 to 40000 kms on them before the tread is too low to be usefull off road.
They are good on wet roads, as good as an all season tire.
I used to have BFG MTs. I found they were terrible on hard wet surfaces. This seems to be due to no siping and hard compounding. I really felt unsafe in many conditions. The TrXus work well in everything I have driven, snow, ice, dry and wet bitumen, dirt, rocks, mud... I have never felt unsafe and never been out of control. I also find them much better in mud than the BFG MTs.
A real mud tire like the TSL will beat them in mud. They are similar in dirt and rocks. The TrXus is better on the road and wet hard surfaces and obviously snow and ice.
The only times I have been out driven from a tire perspective was by Krawlers on rocks and by Krawlers and Swampers in mud.
The TSLs are noisy and rough on the road. The TrXus is fairly quiet and smooth. I have been running with no balancing. There is only a slight vibration at speed.
edit: Here in Canada they are 2/3rds the price of MT/Rs.

Just got a price of $390 for 35x12.5x15. Will have to do some chasing to see where else I can get prices from as that seems steep.
