60 Series Master Cyl Residual Valve?

I'm using a 60 seiries MC with proportioning valve in my 40. I was wondering if anyone knows if these MCs have residual vavles on the rear circuit?

It's fully bled, the rear shoes are adjusted, and the clearance between the booster rod and MC piston is set. There is too much pedal travel before I get brakes. It feels like the rears are taking a while to fill. Brakes are fine when they come on.

Cheers

There should be a residual pressure valve in the master cylinder where the rear brake line attaches into it. It should be calibrated for rear drum brakes too.

Did you adjust the rear shoes? Maladjusted rear brakes will give you the same sensation. Reverse the vehicle and brake, do this several times or turn the star wheel on the adjuster rod.
