Swapping GQ centre into a GU rear diff.

Swapping GQ centre into a GU rear diff. Is it possible while retaining the GU ratios.

Have a mate who just blew his centre gears in his GU but would rather put his GQ centre in the GU and buy a locker for the GU centre and put it in his GQ play toy.

He might just end up putting both GU diffs under his GQ which I think would be the better option for the strenght of the GU front diff but he just would like to work out his options.

should be straight swap unless you have the big GU rear (petrol and some ZD30 models)
