have just finished doing RUF and once back together my sierra is leaning to the drivers side. originally i had the springs on oposite sides and it was really bad. (30mm different). but even now with them on the correct sides it still leans (only 15mm now). these measurements are off difference in shock travel left.
The spring packs are a combination of lifted fronts and stock rears. The 2 main rears and the 3 smallest lifted fronts.
how could i fix this lean so it sits level?
I can think of 2 possible ways but dont know whick would be better.
1# put an extra leaf in the drivers side to allow for the extra weight, but this would make the drivers side extremely stiff, or
2# relpace the largest lifted front leaf (3rd leaf) with a stock rear of the same length. rear leaves are not as thick as the lifted fronts and would allow the passenger side to sag a bit.
what do you think would be the better solution?

You can get your springs on one side reset so it sits level any spring shop can do it, it shouldnt cost all that much and i think it would be a better option that buying another leaf because a extra leaf might make one side of your 4x4 stiffer than the other. Mine leans about 15mm to the drivers side some days and not others (i have a big dent in one of my rear shocks but it seems to work alright when i take it out of the 4x4) im redoing my setup anyway so i havnt bothered fixing it.

Im still sorting my rhs down lean after my spoa, i think it has something to do with the weight distribution in a zook - the driver, battery, the major weight of the motor and the majority of the fuel tank are beased to the right side of the car, so there will always be more stress in the rhs springs. Often springs will have a rhs or lhs marking on them, but obviously the rhs springs will have more stress on them, making them sag quicker. IMHO anyway, Flame away if ya like

ok ive swapped over one of the passenger leaves to a softer one and it has helped a bit but not alot. was thinking of doing the same to the rear passenger ones aswell. they seem to have more arc than the rear drivers side. Buying extra springs is not a problem as i goit a full set of stock ones last week but have used the rears in the front..

ok after discovering one of my tyres was a bit flat (front drivers) and pumped it back up it now sits alot better. I went for a litle play to flex up the new RUF setup and its AWSOME. the front flexes up more than the rear. the lean is down to about 10mm. this is the difference in travel left in the front shocks when on flat ground. the front passenger has a softer spring pack to the drivers side. rears are still the same but with load leaf missing. Was thinking of removing the 2nd load leaf and swapping the 3rd leaf with a softer one. This would soften up the ride and also allow the passenger side to sag a bit and hopefully level out the lean.
