My LN106 single cab has a bench and a bucket....I want to ditch the bench and fit a bucket (well 2 buckets from a jap car actually....).
What type of changing of the rails is needed to fit a bucket in the spot of the bench?
Cheers!
Nicko

Single Cab Seats
Always late in a 2.8
Wouldnt mind betting the holes are there in the floor for the toyota buckets already, my single cab has factory buckets, prob find the surf/4runner ones would go in to with no mods. (wrecker/second hand)
The Sub Imprezza buckets are way cool, they hold ya real good, not sure how they would line up tho in the old luxter

Just done this on a 79 single cab. I used R32 GTS Skyline buckets which was a mistake! It took 4 hours for the first side (1 1/2 second side) to design and make brackets to suit. Problems I found were that the seats were too wide and would hit the seatbelt reel when aligned centerally with the steering wheel. Overcame this by raising the seat by 30mm. Next problem was that the seat slides are at different hights. I found that the inner slide sits 36mm higher than the outer slide. So when you go to get seats try to get some that have both slides level.
BTW all the holes were already in the floor.
