Does anyone know the ratios for the 5 speed box in a Rocky and what transfer case and diff ratios the Rocky runs ?
I am doing an engine and gearbox swap into a 1962 Mitsubishi J series (Willys Jeep copy)
The engine is a Nissan Pathfinder V6
Transfer case Dana 18 and diffs are Dana 25 and full floater Dana 23.
Adapters are custom made :( but relatively cheap to get done here in Indonesia [T6 aluminium]

Welcome to the Board Java !
One question...............WHY ??
Why wouldn't you mate up a gearbox and transfer case that gives you options for different gear ratios instead of the Rocky boxes which only come with the factory option ??
Simple example : Suzuki - Large ranges of easily sourced and varied gear ratios OR Toyota - same reasoning.
You vehicle sounds like a 'bit of a hybrid' anyway, with lots of different parts making it go, so why not go for the better options ??

Depending on which motor was in front of the 5 speed, they are
DL42 motor, 1st 3.647, 2nd 2.136, 3rd 1.484, 4th 1.000, 5th 0.860, reverse 4.351
DL52 motor 1st 3.477, 2nd 2.037, 3rd 1.317, 4th 1.000, 5th 0.820, reverse 4.148
Transfer case High 1.297, low 2.370
Diffs 3.363
All straight out of the workshop manual.
Cheers

Change of plans !
The plan now is a turbo diesel and 5 speed out of a Diahatsu Rocky, Dana 18 TCase , a SOA lift and NO MUFFLERS - got a love the sound of that turbo !
Went into the workshop on Saturday and should be finished in August .
I am running 5.38 Dana diffs.
I think the Rocky ratios are good enough - I was getting by with a standard Willys T90 3 speed with a 2.9 first gear !
Power and torque for a Rocky turbo ? 75kW 245 Nm ?
