Price of reconditioned 3L motor ?

Post by soo33y »

Hi guys,

As a last resort I am trying to prepare myself for a future purchase of a reconditioned 3L motor.

Does anyone have an idea of how much these go for ? And do any places do an exchange ?

BTW I am in Sydney.

THanks guys,
Daniel.

when I got my lux 3L motor I got prices on everything that can go wrong so I'd know what the damage would be. TRADE PRICE on a complete rebuild was $3800 and that was as long as the head was ok..
If anything went wrong with mine I'd be going holden v6 transplant proberly a grand more to do at first but if you drown it or cook it the next engine will cost you under a $1000 well under..
