Perth Mundaring trip

Post by Andy »

G-day all , We went for a run to " Mundaring to York " on Sunday , after a heap of rain all the usual mud holes were full of water and in places the tracks were nice and muddy . The track we followed is the service line that follows the power lines to York . There is plenty of good hill climbs along the way but we just stayed on the track , a quiet trip really but it's nice to get out

G-day Andrew , I had to take a second run to get up a step and while reversing up I had forgotten what was behind me and hit the biggest bolder around , I hit it pretty hard to so I was surprised it only come off being a little bent . I put a hook and chain onto it and use one of the power polls to hook up to and pulled it out again . As for the lights well my break light didn't work before it was hit ( wiring issue ) now it does

I only wish I'd done as little damage as yourself :(

Maybe I should have just hit something with my bullbar to make my front indicator work.........sounds like a good theory anyway :?

I am really happy with the fact that almost all panels are straight, just one with a ding which should 'pop' out. That's the second time I've been involved in an actual roll-over in a Daihatsu.......now I can say......Both times walked out without any injuries (excluding small bruises and grazes)

Put my life in a Daihatsu.........Bloody strong little vehicles !!
