help- Installing Lockright

Post by BadLux »

Hey Me and Da Lux want to install a lockright locker into the front of my hilux, do you need to take the axles out or can you simply take the centre out?? We've got no instructions as he bought the locker off a mate..

We pulled it out of the 3rd member of an 80 series easy as pie but are unsure as to pulling the diff outta mine.
Cheers

p.s We know how to install the actual locker, it's just pulling apart the diff centre we are unsure of as neither of us have pulled one out before. :D

find some instructions, or some other way of finding out what the clearance between the clutches should be - if you get it wrong, the locker won't work properly and will self destruct pretty quickly.
Free air locker to the first 20 callers!
