compare bills, mine was a full repsray, dents taken out, fibreglass guards sprayed, the roof cut and sprayed and the body bobbed for $600.

Dave said that his was about $200 tops, but take into account the fact that i am going to charge him 500 for some guards and now who is ahead :finger: :finger:

Why would he pay for them when he can make them for free. Dave PM me and I will let you know of some you may be able to copy.

we're talking about glass guards, not flares. i'd like to see you make a well fitting high clearance guard for cheaper than $500.

I know thats what you are talking about, but I know a guy who already has the moulds. He bought a pair of guards from the USA and made moulds from them. To suit 84-88 I think.

I believe they are a straight bolt on but I would have to double check

If he can make a set of these guards for less than $500 he is welcome to all the sales he can get.

I speak for myself here but if he can beat this price and match the quality i will be happy to leave him to it and not ever bother selling another set.

Also if he can beat this price/quality i am more than happy to give him a few contacts that are very interested in buying this style guard.

This set fitted to my rig currently owe myself and Nick combined $2200. That is importing a set modifying them so they fit and then building moulds. This price does not include labour for constructing the moulds or making the first product.

If the guards your mate has look just like these and he copied his guards straight from the US without modifying them i would be surprised if they fit.

The guy that modified these guards and built the moulds and the first product has spent at least 50hours getting them even close to right. And they still need a little work.

Dont think im am calling BS here i am realy just a little pissed with how much these guards owe us after we bought some and were told that they would fit with only minor trimming. We had to build up more than we had to trim.
