Can anyone offer any advice of where these can be accessed in NZ & AUS; or, a US seller who will accept an international order.
Cheers,
Leithfield.

The OX hydraulic winch from TJM Industries is the same Milemarker hyd winch.Leithfield wrote:Can anyone offer any advice of where these can be accessed in NZ & AUS; or, a US seller who will accept an international order.

Best price on the net I have seen is Winches Plus in the US. They sell the 10500lb winch (without controls) for US$733 and a little more for the one with controls. Shipping via air freight comes to around US$110 to your local major airport.
What are you going to power your hydro winch with? They can be pretty slow with a PS pump and really need a PTO or something like that to perform adequately.
Oh, and if you are wondering what the difference is between the model with solenoid controls and without. The solenoid model has a motor with manifold mount for valves, the other is just ports. If you are going to roll your own high flow control setup I recommend that you buy the manifold mount unit (you can special order it for the same price without the solenoids from Winches Plus) so that you can fit a 60l/min counterbalance valve to the motor and make it safe for winching out.

I've heard no good stories about these things. Everyone always calls and asks if they'll fit into the ARB bars.
The clutches aparently aren't nearly as strong as others (warn) and the solenoids don't last either. Cheap though, but probably won't last as long...

My tires were rubbing in the front, so I trimmed the hood, and now they're fine...
Aren't you confusing this with the electric winch?mtzook wrote:I've heard no good stories about these things. Everyone always calls and asks if they'll fit into the ARB bars.

Leithfield was specifically asking about the hydraulic winch, which is a completely different winch.
