Tie rod ends for draglink on X-over setup.
Can anyone tell me what tie-rod end they have used when setting up draglink for crossover on hilux, I'm using my old Hilux tie rod ATM (due to $ issues) till I can change it out for a custom one, everything fits good so far, but I need a tierod end for the left hand side, but only short thread, tried fitting an 80 end, but was thread was about 3mm to wide, any suggestions, as guys at pedders couldn't really help.
Or should I cut and die the old tirerod, so I can use the standard lux ends.

But wouldn't thay be in Snake tie rods made to take the 80 ends Guts for your Hi-steer.Guts wrote:I run 2 right hand thread and 2 left hand thread 80 series rod ends.
I'm trying to be a tight ass and re use my old hilux tierod for my draglink, which won't accept the 80 tie rod end, as the thread is 3mm wider.

The standard one for the left side has the extended arm that holds the steering stabiliser on it, I need one that is same length as the right hand side, which gives the perfect length to fit to the 80 pitman arm, but the right hand is the opposite thread, I'm thinkin of cutting the tierod, and getting a new die so it will accept the hilux rh tie rod end.

Yeah, I asked at pedders on saturday about 60, 75, and Bundera, but he didn't have any in stock to compare them to, but was going to look into it Monday, thats why I asked on here, cause if I know the part I'm lookin for they'll get it straight away.
Thanks for the advice Guts
