Can anyone tell me what tie-rod end they have used when setting up draglink for crossover on hilux, I'm using my old Hilux tie rod ATM (due to $ issues) till I can change it out for a custom one, everything fits good so far, but I need a tierod end for the left hand side, but only short thread, tried fitting an 80 end, but was thread was about 3mm to wide, any suggestions, as guys at pedders couldn't really help.
Or should I cut and die the old tirerod, so I can use the standard lux ends.

Its usually hilux or 80s tie rod ends for the flipped arm ( same tapper) but are you meaning for the pit arm end and what pit arm are you using

Cut and die the 80's tie rod.

Don't know if there will be enough room with standard lux tie-rod, 80 is 3mm wider, but is sounding like best option at present.

But wouldn't thay be in Snake tie rods made to take the 80 ends Guts for your Hi-steer.
I'm trying to be a tight ass and re use my old hilux tierod for my draglink, which won't accept the 80 tie rod end, as the thread is 3mm wider.

Correct you are. So whats the problem with using standard lux ends?

The standard one for the left side has the extended arm that holds the steering stabiliser on it, I need one that is same length as the right hand side, which gives the perfect length to fit to the 80 pitman arm, but the right hand is the opposite thread, I'm thinkin of cutting the tierod, and getting a new die so it will accept the hilux rh tie rod end.

Have a look at 60 and 75 ends, I`m certain there is one (might not be 1 of those 2) that is like you want and in left hand thread.

Yeah, I asked at pedders on saturday about 60, 75, and Bundera, but he didn't have any in stock to compare them to, but was going to look into it Monday, thats why I asked on here, cause if I know the part I'm lookin for they'll get it straight away.
Thanks for the advice Guts
