Bundy Suspension Lift............beyond current 2"?????

Post by gogo »

Hi,

Current set up is 2" tough dog shocks and coil springs (yes, I have all round coil springs, no leaf springs).

If I were to increase the height to say 4", is it possible to do as below? To replace the current tough dog shocks and springs is too much $$ So:

1. I can put 2" spacers on the coils....thats not a problem.

2. So the shocks; either reweld the mounting points lower, or extend the shocks with a 2" extension, which I will have to custom make. Which is best?

You can certainly use the spacers for an extra inch or 2 on the coils, however I have no idea about the shock mounting repositioning and rewelding or extensions.
