panhard, and trailing arm bolts. How tight?
panhard, and trailing arm bolts. How tight?
just put my new panhard and 3rds trailing arms on, how tight should i do the bolts up, should they be super tight or will overtightening restrict movement. the originals were tight as buggery
I did mine up with a rattle gun and they a very tight.
It shouldnt make much difference if you over tighten them as the bushes have a metal sleve that will turn on the bolt. And since it is support on oth sides by a chassi bracket (same on axle also) I couldnt imagine it crushing and limiting movement.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
As tight as you can get them with a normal spanner or ratchet.
