Any LPG guru's?
I'm thinking of running straight LPG on TB42 with Gas Research mixer. Am I better off using the carb manifold, which I've got, or the EFI one? EFI one looks like a better position for mixer and intake plumbing, due to direction it faces and space above motor. It would sit in place of throttle body, which is where I would have mounted the mixer on carb manifold setup. What's EFI manifold worth anyway?

I would just keep it on the carby manifold if thats what it was designed for.BowTieGQ wrote:I'm thinking of running straight LPG on TB42 with Gas Research mixer. Just make sure you get it tuned properly for best results, preferebly an LPG shop with a dyno. The GR mixers can be difficult to tune, but once set up right they are tops.
I would go the efi manifold if its cheap, as long as its tuned length / plenum chamber. better for mid range torque. also compare an efi throttle body to the carb throught size. chuck the carb manifold in the bin.
