Bye Bye Ferwoaza

Post by Ferwoaza »

Well, she's gone. Fixed up the gearbox and traded her in.

She still needed a lot of work too so I think I got out of it pretty well heh. She had a good run and a great offroad life.

Got myself a nice 80series now, going to be setup for touring/camping, longer trips etc..

I've approached someone to take over my moderator duties for this section as I don't think it would be applicable for me to stay in that duty here.

I'll still be around tho, and more than happy to pass on my experiences and knowledge on the lil beasts :) :)

On a side note, I happen to have a full original printed copy of the Feroza workshop manual. If someone wants it, make me an offer. QLD would probably be better so I can hand deliver, she's a might big to post :)

I also have a full tray system for the back of a Feroza, used to be Mike Hennesys. Has a cargo barrier etc, you have to remove the rear seats to install and it's probably missing a couple of easy to replace bolts. Still in great nick tho...make me an offer (qld again, she's big!) :)

i've been thinking of making a fibreglass hinge up ute type doobie like the Isuzu MU i seen a few years back had. just for something different that i can change easily enough when i need the rear seats.

this is the only pic i can find of one, cant see the back bit properly

The cargo barrier really only mates up with the drawer system. The draws go up about 1/2 the seats and the cargo mates to the top of it and too the roof..

Dunno if that's what your going to be after....

If so, I'll see if I can get some pics this weekend.
