Do you have anything you can put in the picture as a scale reference? Maybe a 5 or 20 cent piece to get an ide how big they are.

yea thats a shift plate and the snap ring which is supposed to sit underneath it, on an mq box each synchro assembly has three shift plates and two snap rings, imagine it would be the same for most boxes.
I'd be asking the question that if one came out and the ring that supports it is out where are the other two??? they'd either be out or could potentially fall out and jam something... I'd be looking for a spare box or a price at recoing yours....

Bofore it makes a big mess in there and cost you twice as much to rebuild as it would have if you had got it done when you first noticed the problem.......................................... :?

that rectangular thing looks like a drain plug that goes at the bottom of the belhousing or gearbox to stop water getting in.

you are supposed to pull the plug out to let any water come out (if any) after a trip, looks like it was just pushed right up though.

i have one on mine, which reminds me, better check it
