no that i would do it but r they legal on road for a daily driver

i have seen them on a zook,looks like they r to carry things

Nothing they can do, much like the bullbar rules as long as there are no sharp edges or protrusions (ie, the bars must follow the contour of the body) its perfectly legal. ;)
